Rufim Sudkovsky (1850-1885)
Russian painter-landscape writer. Having studied at the Ochakov Spiritual School, then at the Odessa’s seminary. But he was fond a lot of another field at all.
The painter’s imagination had been stressing constantly by the sight of the sea – by its fascinating effects. Since that time he had been trying to recreate them by means of pen and brush, thought to use them at the drawing school of Art Amateurs Odessa’s Society. In 1868 he entered as a pupil to the Imperial Art Academy. In 1882 he was gotten an academician title
