Kustodiev Boris Mihajlovich (1878-1927) - Russian painter, graph artist, the theatrical painter.
He worked in landscape and portrait genres. Kustodiev studied in the Petersburg Art Academy (1896-1903) by I.E.Repin. The creative originality and individual stylistic handwriting of Kustodiev are most full expressed in the pictures representing patriarchal Russia, stages of pheasants and merchants life.
