Klodt Michael Konstantinovich (Klodt von Urgensburg) (1832/33 - 1902)
The special feature of Klodt’s talent was obsession, flying into a rage in the expressing a beauty of Russian nature. His best paintings had been written in 1860 - 70th. By birth Klodt was from artily gifted family: his father was engaged in an engraving on a tree, the uncle was the well-known sculptor. In the childhood Klodt was taught the drawing in the Mountain military school by Hrutsky. In 1850th he studied in the Art Academy as the pupil of the landscape painting professor Vorobjev. In 1863ã. Êlodt had been glorified by the picture “The Big road in the autumn”.
