Friedrich Caspar David

Ôðèäðèõ Êàñïàð Äàâèä Friedrich Caspar David– (1774-1840) – the well-known German landscape writer, romantic. He studied in the Art Academy in Copenhagen at professor Nikolay Abraham Abilgora during four years. In his early pictures an influence of Claude Lorren is felt, but soon the artist developed his own landscape ideal. His compositions are full with emotions. The central idea of his creative work – the searching of free spirit.
