Konstantin Yuon (1875-1958)
Russian landscaper, scene painter, graph painter, landscape writer, portrait writer, an author of genre and historical compositions. He studied at Moscow School of Painting, Sculpturing and Art by Savitsky, Arhipov and ets. Since 1907 he was a scene-painter. His main genre – lyrical landscape, mostly because of his adoration of impressionism. Uon mastered a number of basic principles of French impressionists, not breaking off his relations with Russian realism of the second part of XIX century. He liked Russian oldness, its decorative side and colorfulness.
